TL;DR

Snappt is in need of an experienced Product Manager to lead our core Fraud Detection product. This is our flagship product where we already have product-market fit, but we’re looking for someone who can lead us through this pivotal time as we look to increase market share in our core industry and solidify us as the leader in the space.

Who we are

We are a Series A, well-funded tech startup that is kicking ass and taking names. In just two short years, we have captured nearly 10% market share… because our fraud detection technology is saving our customers millions, soon to be billions of dollars.

We are a founder-led organization, passionate about building a company with awesome people and a relentless focus on the customer. And as cliche as it may sound, we walk the walk and stand behind our Core Values and how we treat one another.

We are a team of 80, soon to be 100. If you’re like us and think you have what it takes to join us, keep reading!

What we do

We stop the bad guys. Since 2020, we have saved our customers over $150MM in potential losses.

The Snappt platform leverages our proprietary algorithm to effectively and efficiently identify tampered or altered documents used for income or financial verification. For example, this empowers property managers and owners to avoid costly evictions (and the associated bad debt.)

Who you are

  • You are passionate; you throw your energy and conviction into the work you do.
  • You are naturally curious; you have an innate desire to understand people and help solve their problems.
  • You are collaborative; you thrive in environments where people work together to create winning solutions.
  • You commit to self-development and personal growth; you pursue your personal and professional interests with energy and enthusiasm.
  • You assume positive intent; you believe your teammates and customers come from a place of good intention.

What you will do

  • You’ll own two primary product areas from strategy to execution to GTM:
    • The workflows for Applicants, Leasing Agents, and Admins to complete the end-to-end document fraud detection workflows
    • Everything related to how we review the documents for Fraud - the ML automation we use to catch fraud as well as the user experience for our Fraud Analysts to audit our automation
  • You’ll be building and running the fraud product day to day:
    • Develop new product features to ensure we stay on top of the ever-evolving types of fraud in the industry
    • Continue to refine and improve both the AI and manual workflows we have for detecting fraud that power the algorithms behind our product
    • Identify the usability or product gaps in our solution that are preventing people from adopting the product fully
    • Execute with engineering, getting into the weeds and details. Think through how we test ideas and partner with GTM teams on launching them to customers
  • Defining the broader strategy for the Fraud product area:
    • Develop a 12-month strategy that sets us apart in the industry and solidifies us as the de facto fraud prevention solution in the rental institutional multifamily market
    • Partner with GTM teams to understand what they're hearing from the market and identify key customer feedback that might be preventing us from hitting our growth, churn, or efficiency goals
    • Operate with a P&L mindset: determine not just how we grow but ensure we do so efficiently in a way that optimizes for profitability of the business.
  • All while getting into the details!
    • Own outcomes, not just outputs. Ensure product features drive our underlying business metrics forward
    • Set the bar for how we partner with customers, ensuring that we have a constant pulse on the feedback from our customer-facing teams that is shared throughout the product teams and organization

What you bring

  • You have at least 4 years of product management experience where you shipped successful products with business impact
  • Design Sense: You have a track record of delivering products with an intuitive user experience, know how to fit products into user workflows, and can identify good design from bad.
    • If you have experience with fraud products or other decision reporting that’s a bonus!
  • Product Expert: You know your product better than anyone else, inside and out. How it works, who it’s for, and the value it provides.
  • Data-Oriented: You make data-driven decisions. You set impactful goals, know your metrics,  and track and obsess over them.
  • Customer-Centric: You are an expert on customers’ needs, know how to perform good research, and synthesize insights to fuel decision-making.
  • Problem Solver: Can take ambiguous problems, break them down, and create logical solutions, can think outside the box
  • Organized: You’re strong at project management, and know how to drive efficient, transparent, and aligned product development. You have no problem navigating complex workstreams and stakeholders or anticipating roadblocks.
  • Technically Savvy: You understand technology intricacies, navigating complexity without needing to code
  • Detail-Oriented: You are comfortable in the details, diligently address edge cases, and know that the details matter
  • Resourceful: Apply strategic thinking, test ideas efficiently, and maximize outcomes with minimal resources
  • Strategic and Visionary: You inspire the engineers and cross-functional stakeholders you work with, providing focus and direction and crafting strategies for tangible business results and customer impact
  • Clear Communicator: You articulate complex ideas clearly, tailoring communication to diverse stakeholders
  • Opinionated but open-minded: You are a master of strong opinions loosely held and foster a culture of curiosity and growth
  • If you have industry experience in PropTech or FinTech that’s a bonus!
