What we do

We stop the bad guys. Since 2020, we have saved our customers over $150MM in potential losses. 

The Snappt platform leverages our proprietary algorithm to effectively and efficiently identify tampered or altered documents used for financial or identity verification. This empowers property managers and owners to avoid costly evictions (and the associated bad debt.) We also save leasing agents time by verifying the financial criteria submitted by applicants to ensure they meet their rental criteria.

What you will do
  • You’ll own multiple product areas from strategy to execution to GTM. These might include:
    • Our public APIs for our customers and partners
    • Our outbound integrations where we make our offerings available via other technical products in the property management space
    • The report that contains the output of the analysis we do for our customers
    • Our proprietary AI models that detect fraudulent patterns in income documentation
    • Our AI-driven automated data extraction services
    • The business logic behind how we calculate and report on income 
  • You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to define the broader strategy for your areas:
    • Determine the best ways our product offerings can contribute towards a more seamless workflow for both rental applicants and leasing agents via integrations with the technology systems they use today
    • Paint a picture of the broader proptech ecosystem and articulate a strategy and prioritization for when and where we should be plugging in
    • Figure out how we can use AI and smart backend algorithms to deepen our moat in the industry
  • All while getting into the details!
    • The details make a product great - get a deep understanding of our customer's use cases and turn that into detailed requirements
    • Collaborate with your engineering teams to ship products that execute against the strategy you’ve set
  • Work closely with customers and partners using our APIs to ensure we ship a great product that is successful in the market
  • Partner with product marketing on our GTM strategy as it relates to new launches
  • Make sure that as our core product evolves in terms of functionality these improvements are also made available via our APIs 

What you bring

  • You have at least 4 years of product management experience where you shipped successful products with business impact
  • Product Expert: You know your product better than anyone else, inside and out. How it works, who it’s for, and the value it provides.
  • Data-Oriented: You make data-driven decisions. You set impactful goals, know your metrics,  and track and obsess over them. 
  • Customer-Centric: You are an expert on customers’ needs, know how to perform good research, and synthesize insights to fuel decision-making.
  • Problem Solver: Can take ambiguous problems, break them down, and create logical solutions, can think outside the box
  • Organized: You’re strong at project management, and know how to drive efficient, transparent, and aligned product development. You have no problem navigating complex workstreams and stakeholders or anticipating roadblocks. 
  • Technically Savvy: Understands technology intricacies, navigating complexity without needing to code
  • Detail-Oriented: You are comfortable in the details, diligently address edge cases, and know that the details matter
  • Resourceful: Applies strategic thinking, tests ideas efficiently, and maximizes outcomes with minimal resources
  • Strategic and Visionary: You inspire the engineers and cross-functional stakeholders you work with, providing focus and direction and crafting strategies for tangible business results and customer impact
  • Clear Communicator: Articulates complex ideas clearly, tailoring communication to diverse stakeholders
  • Opinionated but open-minded: You are a master of strong opinions loosely held and foster a culture of curiosity and growth

Bonus points

  • Industry experience in PropTech or FinTech
  • Experience working on other fraud-related products that include tooling for internal teams and/or AI/ML based automation 
  • A technical collegiate degree in a major like Computer Science and Computer Engineering or experience working in a technical role as a former engineer
  • You know how APIs work, have used them, and have an intuition around level of complexity
    • If you have experience working on API-based products and/or integrations that’s even better!

Where you’ll work

Snappt is a remote-first organization. 

We actually don’t even have an office. So if you’re accountable and do high-quality work...do it from anywhere. You can also expect to see your teammates throughout the year IRL, at company-supported retreats and events.

Annual Base Salary Range: $142,000-$204,250
